In Memoriam
For those of you who knew her, Mary was a radiant spirit. Her generosity was boundless, her curiosity and creativity a joy to share, her kindness universal. Mary’s tragic and untimely death has elicited a worldwide outpouring of sympathy which we also wish to share with you. Thank you all so very much for your support, donations to charities, messages of condolence, and tributes to Mary for which we are truly grateful. We ask you to post in the spirit of positivity that was Mary’s essence. This is not the place for darkness.
It has been so comforting to know how many people Mary knew, touched, and inspired in one way or another and we would like to continue to hear from you as we try to honor and keep her memory alive so that others may benefit. The Mary Richardson Kennedy Award scholarship at The Putney School in Vermont has been established in her name to help students, highlighting environmental and social concerns to change the world for good and beauty, so that Mary’s commitment to creating a better and healthier life, especially for the next generation, will continue. We are sure that this is what Mary would have wanted. We would therefore be grateful if you would continue to support her legacy in any way you can.
